Interactivity in Museums: Options for the Aga Khan Museum

Recognizing gaps and pain points during a visitor’s museum experience

For my Master’s Research Project (MRP), I chose to address an ongoing pain point for the Aga Khan Museum’s collection: the lack of historical context and details when it comes to Middle Eastern styles. By comparing the different ways in which digital media was implemented at other institutions, I created a mock-up for the Aga Khan Museum’s ceramic collection in the Bellerive Room called “Style Through the Ages”. One part literature review and one part proposal, my MRP consisted of examining the pros and cons of various digital media implementations. Read the full paper here.
